Kaylin completed her bachelor's degree in violin and neuroscience at New York University. As an undergraduate, she conducted research at Mount Sinai investigating the generation and functional role of type 2 dentate spikes in rodent models of epilepsy.

At the Farrell lab, she is excited to learn more about the hippocampal circuit mechanisms involved in dysfunctional neural activity.
